SF-Type Wet Scrubber / Membrane
Wet-solution emission-control equipment for contaminated industrial gas streams, corrosive gases, fumes and particulate matter.
SF-Type Wet Scrubbers / Membrane — Wet Solution
Wet scrubbers push contaminated gas streams through a water solution to remove inorganic contaminants. This type of scrubber is commonly used across different industries where corrosive gases or fumes are produced.
Wet scrubbers work by taking contaminated gas through a water-based solution so pollutants can be captured within the wet-treatment process before the gas stream is discharged.
The supplied product material describes wet scrubbing as a more cost-effective solution in the long run when compared with dry scrubber systems.
According to the supplied product material, when functioning properly wet scrubbers can remove over 99% of airborne particulates.

From Contaminated Gas to Wet Treatment
The supplied product description uses a water-based scrubbing process to capture pollutants carried within the industrial gas stream.
Contaminated gas streams containing pollutants, corrosive gases or fumes enter the scrubber system.
The gas stream is brought through a water-based wet scrubbing solution.
Pollutants and particulate matter are captured through the wet-treatment process before discharge.
Characteristics of the Wet Scrubber System
The following points reproduce the principal advantages listed in the supplied SF-Type Wet Scrubber product material.
The processing of flue gases can be handled safely.
High-temperature and high-humidity gas streams can be handled without condensation issues or temperature limits.
Collected particulate matter cannot escape once collected.
Some of the more corrosive gases can be effectively neutralized.
Solid and gas particulate matter can be absorbed with one system.
Large amounts of space are not required for installation of the wet scrubber.
Match the SF Model to the Required Gas Volume
The SF-series ranges from SF-1 through SF-35, with the supplied specification table listing exhaust-gas volumes from 3,000 to 105,000 m³/h.
Final model selection should consider the required exhaust-gas volume, physical dimensions, installation space and project operating conditions.
